The three colours of Variita represent the three parts of the biopsychosocial model: biology, psychology and the social world around us. Together, they form the foundation of how we approach people, health and pain.
Biology
Our biology matters. Movement, strength, sleep, recovery, physical health, injury and the nervous system can all influence how we feel and what we are able to do.
Psychology
Thoughts, emotions, beliefs, stress, expectations and previous experiences can influence how we interpret our body, respond to pain and approach recovery.
Social
Nobody exists in isolation. Relationships, family, work, environment, culture, responsibilities and the support around us can all influence health, pain and recovery.
The biopsychosocial model
Biology, psychology and our social world do not operate separately. They continuously interact and influence one another. That is why Variita does not reduce someone to a painful body part, a scan or a diagnosis. We aim to understand the whole person, their circumstances and what matters to them.
The colours in our logo are a reminder of that approach: body , mind and life around you different parts of one human experience.
